About "Anne Freeman"

I have been a professional face painter since October 2005 and have undertaken a number of high profile public events for companies such as Plymouth Waterfront Partnership, Plymouth University, The National Trust, Cadburys, Sainsbury's, Flybe South West and Plymouth City Council along with a numerous birthday parties, weddings, christenings, fundraisers and fairs.

Throughout my life I have and still do carry out a significant amount of voluntary work as well as caring for a disabled parent at home and running a business.

At the age of 43, I am finally realising my own dream by attending Plymouth College of Art and studying for a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Crafts, specialising in Glass.

At the end of my degree, I aim to have started up a CIC (Community Interest Company) offering art and craft workshops in my locality, something that is hugely missing at the moment. I couldn't afford to do night school classes at the Art College as the cost was too high when on a low income, no instalment plans and the payment had to be made up front. It made me so aware and so frustrated how the world of art and craftmanship could only be accessible to those who could afford it, so I decided that I will continue to help others with their love for art.

Here are some of my works or art.......
